Alt. Milks - the Good, the Bad, the Oatly
The alternative milk revolution has been here for quite some time and I’m sooo here for it. By this time, you’re either all about it or it’s a foreign concept. There are now endless options such as cashew, macadamia, sesame, lactaid, etc. when it comes to milk alternatives. At Due-Back, we carry oat, almond, soy, coconut, whole, and 2% milk. Top 3 milks by consumption are as follows:
Oat
Whole Milk
Almond Milk
Oatly is by far the best of the oats. Taste is there, froths nice, and it’s really thick and creamy. We’ve tried many brands but can’t seem to find anything better all around. Almond milk tends to “water down” coffee in my opinion, but it’s still high up there as far as consumption. Personally, I switch it up between whole milk and almond milk (only because almond milk is a little bit better for you as far as carbs and sugar). I would say oat is the tastiest in a specialty latte though. What milks are you trying in 2024?
